Pub2Pub Charity Fun Run and Festival celebrates its 26th year of raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for worthy local charities on Sydney's Northern Beaches. Money raised is donated to organisations including Bear Cottage, the Children’s Cancer Institute, Manly and Mona Vale Hospitals, Life Education Australia and White Ribbon Australia.
Organised by the Rotary Club of Brookvale, the event has three course options, catering for everyone from serious runners to families - 13km from Dee Why Surf Lifesaving Club to Newport Surf Lifesaving Club; 6km from Warriewood to Newport; and 3km from Mona Vale to Newport.
This is undoubtedly Sydney's most scenic fun run, taking in many of the spectacularly beautiful Northern Beaches. A huge Family Festival is held at the Newport Beach finish line with live music, a licensed bar area, international food options and plenty of fun rides and games for the kids.
Rotary Upper Northern Beaches are managing the 6km start at Rat Park Warriewood, with a 9:00am start time.
It's the perfect distance for families and teams!
We'd love to see you there!
Bring the whole family out to the beach in your finest pirate gear for an exciting morning of pirate-themed fun! You can dig in the sand for doubloons (treasure tokens) that you can exchange for prizes. There'll be separate Digs for each age group and one for adult pirates, too!
Every digger gets a prize, plus a chance to win a few extra special "Pirate Gold" prizes, including "Drive a BMW for a Weekend" and a harbour cruise.
And there's more fun in Bert Payne Park by the beach, with food, games and crafts for all. And a prize for the best dressed pirate!
You'll also be able to watch noted artist Newton Bishop create a unique sand sculpture throughout the morning. The event wraps up with a tasty BBQ lunch.
Entry is free. Kids can dig for $5 each, teenagers for $10 and adults for $30. You can buy tickets on the day or purchase them in advance HERE
